The US40 portable pipe-bevelling and facing machine is way ahead in comparison to other bevelling machines in terms of reliability, versatility and power. It is suitable for diameter ranges from 1.5’’ to 8’’ ID (43-219 mm). It allows up to four simultaneous machining operations for its standard tool plate. These operations include bevelling, facing, counterboring, compound bevelling, OD chamfering, removal of weld joints on tube sheets, lengthening of tubes on tube sheets. Being robust, it permits repeatable high quality weld preparations on all types of materials including stainless steel duplex, super duplex, inconel, P91etc. It permits bevel forms such as 30°, 37°and 45° bevel, J-bevel, compound bevels, removal of weld joints from tube sheets, lengthening of tubes from tube sheets, other customization on request. It can be manually clamped with ratchet and is equipped with a cutting head gear drive having 25 rpm off-load speed and 16 rpm nominal speed. It has a feed stroke of 50mm(1.9") with ratchet with possible expansion up to 16mm (0.6").
