Description
The EKZ is used in the production of crystals of up to 300 mm or 12 " in diameter. The typical batch weighs approximately between 120 to 200 kg, based on the hot zone installed and the use of the feeder for the improvement in the batch weight. The crystal length can be obtained from such batch sizes which measure up to 2.5 m in the cylindrical position.
