Description

Tee Strainer offers several advantages over other strainer designs. The strainer is very compact, important in applications where space is restricted. Unlike most other strainers, Tee strainer can be used in both vertical and horizontal installations. A real time saving feature of Tee strainer is that the strainer screen can be cleaned without draining the strainer vessel. QWP tee strainer os fabricated to your specification. Optional Materials, end connections and accessories are available. Strainer body meets ASME B16.5 304 SS or 316SS mesh screens are standard. Perforated plate screen are optional. Drain/Blow-off connection furnished with plug as standard. Generous screen area and proportioned straining chamber to minimize initial pressure drop while maximizing between cleanings. Compact end to end dimension. T Strainer Standard sizes from 2” – 36”. Larger sizes available. T Strainer Available with RF or RTJ flanged (ASME 16.5) or Buttweld (ASME B16.9) end connections. T Strainer Standard through bolt cover design. Perforated screens with Mesh are standard. T Strainers designed to meet the requirements of ASME B31.3 and / or ASME Section VIII , Div. I. Y Strainer Drain is standard and is complete with plug.
