SMALL FOOTPRINT MULTIPACK PACKAGING MACHINE MP2 This multipack packaging machine is adapted for small output lines and, thus, it has a lower capacity and a smaller footprint than our conventional multipack machines. However, it has the same performance in terms of flexibility, compression force and appearance of the multipack. There is no charge accumulation of products as the products enter right into the compression unit. This also means that there is no need for a top belt support system to prevent packs from falling over. An advantage over conventional multipack machines is that each product gets compressed in the exact same way due to the cycle of the machine, whereas normally products get compressed in a charge. This smaller packaging machine can be equipped with Qubiqa’s patented FlexWeld system that enables the use of pre-stretched MDO film that is stronger than any conventional films.
