For optimal splitting, this log breaker is equipped with a dual manual speed for the descent of the cylinder. This allows optimizing the speed of the wedge's descent and gaining in splitting cycle time. When the wedge descends before reaching the wood, the operator will choose a fast speed to accelerate the process. Then, they will choose a slow speed once the wedge touches the log, allowing for a greater splitting power. The wedge automatically rises to increase productivity. For added safety, the electric log breaker has a two-hand control requiring both hands of the operator to operate the descent of the cylinder.
