These grinding heads assist landscapers and communities in landscaping, maintaining green spaces, embankments, and road edges, but are also suitable for small-scale forestry operations, especially in wooded areas where a tractor is hardly feasible. Equipped with mobile hammers, these forest shredders are ideal for grinding young shoots, brambles, or surface branches. Depending on the models, they can grind wood up to 140 mm in diameter over a width of 600 to 1400 mm in a single pass. This wood shredder on an excavator is equipped with a self-leveling attachment that adapts to the irregularities of the ground, as well as an adjustable sensing roller.
