Description

Qualified per MIL-C-28748 requirements, the MM and MB series are miniature and sub miniature connectors used in civil and military applications such as in-flight equipment, instrumentation or missile. These rectangular multicontact connectors offer: Ruggedness High performance High contact density Weight and space saving design High vibration and shock resistance An interconnect solution for electric and electrical equipment, MM and MB series are fitted with non-removable solder type contacts. Originally developed for rack and panel assemblies, they can be adapted for cable-to-cable applications with a cable clamp backshell. Durability: 500 mating cycles Shock: 100g / 6ms Vibration: 20g / 10-2000 Hz Current rating: 5A Test voltage @ sea level: 1000 Vrms / 50 Hz Operating voltage : at sea level: 350 Vrms / 50 Hz at 70,000 feet: 90 Vrms / 50 Hz Insulation resistance: > 5000 MΩ Contact resistance: < 5 mΩ Humidity: 56 days insulator: Glass filled diallylphthalate (per ASTM-D-5948-96 Type SDG-F) Pin contact: Copper alloy gold over nickel Socket contact: Copper alloy gold over nickel Guides and jackscrews: Stainless steel Backshells: Aluminium alloy (yellow anodized)
