Description

The PT Pin Turning Machine is designed for rough and fine turning of crank-throw pins and journals of assembled crankshafts used in large vessel engines. The rotary disc is mounted in the yoke. Both units consist of two parts what enables them to be opened and closed. Division of the units makes it possible to load and unload workpiece and to perform the machining. The rotary disc is equipped with a tool holder slide with replaceable tool. Its rotation is powered by a drive system adjusting cutting speed. A separate drive unit controls radial travel of the tool. The Pin Turning Machine cooperates with a horizontal lathe on which the assembled crankshaft is clamped. MAIN FEATURES -The machine is portable and it can be installed on different lathes or it can serve as a separate machine. -It is provided with its own control and drive systems as well as power hydraulics. -Separate drive for tool radial travel.
