Load Samples onto SDS Page Gels Gel-Well™ pipette tips are thin and highly tapered, making them ideal for loading samples onto polyacrylamide sequencing gels and SDS page gels. Rainin Gel-Well tips are available in 10 µL and 250 µL volumes with either flat or round ends. Available as non-sterilized only, these tips are autoclavable (1 bar, 121°C, 15 minutes) and certified to be DNase- and RNase-free. Gel-Well tips fit most universal-fit (UNV) pipette models and come in racks of 200 tips. Advantages of Gel-Well Pipette Tips • Load Gels in Thin Wells Gel-Well tips are ideal for manipulating samples within exceptionally narrow polyacrylamide gels, such as (<1 mm) slab gels. The flexible, ultrathin microcapillary tip provides great precision for sample loading in applications such as DNA sequencing and protein electrophoresis. • For Universal-Fit Pipettes Gel-Well tips are available in 10 uL and 250 uL volumes, with either flat or round ends. They are autoclavable (1 bar, 121°C, 15 minutes) and are certified to be DNase- and RNase-free. Ge-Well tips are available in special 200-tip racks and fit most universal- fit pipette models. Non-sterile only. • Flat or Round Orifice The end of the Gel-WelIT tip is tapered and sometimes lattened to create very narrow orifices, which are ideal for all gel loading applications. Round orifice ends have an OD size of 0.57 mm; lat orifice ends are slightly narrower with an OD size of 0.17 mm or 0.37 mm.
