RAX721-A is the latest L2/L3 aggregation device for the operator from Raisecom. It has 24 x GE (SFP) interfaces as well as 4 x 10GE (SFP+) interfaces. It supports IEEE1588v2 (TC) for clock synchronization as well as ITU-T G.8031 and G.8032 for link redundancy and BFD for fault detection. RAX721-A supports routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP. It is also MEF CE2.0 certified device which will also be shortly upgradeable to provide MPLS support after its debut in the market.
With a dimension of 44mm x 440mm x 360mm, RAX721-A fits into 1U rack space with operating temperature ranging from 0°C to 50°C makes the RAX721-A the most preferred L2/L3 aggregation device at the CO site.
