The steep low dark current which enables extended exposure times, ideal for staring operations. The Kingfisher camera provides impeccable performance capabilities for dim-light operations such as fluorescence imaging, astronomy, Bio & Chemical-luminescence, calcium signaling, fluorescence imaging / spectroscopy, flow cytometry, FRET / FRAP / TIRF, genome sequencing, high content screening, high resolution fluorescence imaging, hyper-spectral imaging, live cell imaging, single molecule sensing and solar cell examination. The camera has XCAP software support from EPIX (Cameralink), This extremely productive software provides user-friendly menus and dialog-boxes, which ultimately simplifies clear/complicate imaging tasks to be complete without any strain.
