Due to their different roll diameters, roll pitches and variable drive concepts, roller conveyors can be used in a variety of ways in the production process: from sorting, distribution and storage of material to order picking. The RBS roller conveyors are robust, low-maintenance and can also be used as simple roller conveyors without a drive. In addition, they are very adaptable in terms of the weight of the goods to be transported. The standard RBS roller conveyors are designed for standard pallets with weights of up to 1,500 kg and speeds of up to 0.5 m/s. The roller conveyors can be used for a wide range of applications. The system components are based on special support profiles made of anodised aluminium. Due to the modular design, special designs for customer-specific pallets and conveyed goods are possible. Roll spacings and conveyor widths that can be changed in the grid system create flexibility for individual adaptation. The low height of the roller conveyor also allows it to be mounted directly on the floor. Loading and unloading can thus be carried out either with standard hand pallet trucks, electric lift-trucks or forklift trucks. For the buffering of pallets, a load-independent accumulating roller conveyor with single-slot system is used. Depending on the application, the RBS roller conveyors are designed with a continuous chain drive or a drive from roller to roller. Depending on the application, the drives can be reversible or have a soft start. The necessary safety is guaranteed at all times by appropriate protective coverings.
