The hydraulically steered axle offers reliability and efficiency in normal, dynamic and emergency operating conditions, both forwards and in reverse. The irregularities and limitations of all types of self-steering axles, which depend on grip, i.e. the load on the axles and road conditions (unmetalled, muddy, wet, etc.), are eliminated.
