QUBE is an optical sensor able to read lines and/or edges of laminates using the contrast of the light produced. With a visual area of about 6mm and a response time of 1msec QUBE can detect continuous or interrupted lines on different kinds of backgrounds such as transparent, metallic and reflecting. The installation and set up are extremely easy for the operator: the sensor automatically selects the reading direction and the illumination colour for maximum contrast reducing time of calibration. QUBE sensor is available also with the UV version in order to read and correct the aligment of UV materials.
