The CX expanding shafts are characterised by a pneumatic-mechanical control that guarantees high precision reel centring. This solution is essential in all applications where reels have to be unwound or rewound in a perfectly concentric fashion to avoid stressing the material. Thanks to this feature, the self-centring shaft is used for foil materials with a thickness of only a few microns, such as aluminium.
