Sampling Port and Probe Sampling from pneumatic conveying lines. Sampling from pneumatic conveying lines often presents a number of challenges for a company. REMBE® Kersting has met these challenges and has developed the InlineTasty as a part of the “Sampling Port and Probe” product range. The InlineTasty can be used in a wide variety of industrial applications; food, animal feed – almost everything is possible. Operation The InlineTasty can be installed at horizontal and vertical conveying lines. Sampling begins by pulling a handle. This causes InlineTasty’s inlet probe to move into the upwardly-flowing bulk stream. The inlet probe has an opening that takes up a sample portion of the flowing material. This sample material is diverted through a sample tube into a sample collection system such as the LayFlat. The sample material flow continues until the handle has been pushed again. The pneumatic model is operated by two cylinders.
