Excelitas VariFi™ linear variable filters provide a unique solution for controlling background noise and higher-order effects in spectrometers. Our proprietary technology enables cost-effective production of linearly variable filters over a wide range of sizes. These filters are available in the visible, near infrared, and mid-infrared spectral ranges and can be delivered on various substrate materials. Excelitas manufactures spatially variable response coatings in which the center wavelength of operation changes with position in a linear manner over the surface of the optic.
