Excelitas graded reflectivity laser mirrors provide high damage threshold, spectral stability and precise spatial shaping of the intensity and phase characteristics of laser beams. With the use of proprietary precision Ion Beam Sputtered (IBS) technology, our graded reflectivity laser mirrors offer environmental stability and mechanical durability to meet the needs of demanding and harsh applications such as cavity optics in unstable resonator lasers.
Available in a wide range of sizes, these graded reflectivity mirrors are typically 0.25 inches (6 mm) to 5 inches (127 mm) and can be customized from virtually any substrate
material including fused silica, optical glasses, ZnSe, ZnS and Si.
These laser mirrors can also be customized with any variation including non-rotationally symmetric patterns, as well as with complex designs which will increase and
decrease the reflectivity repeatedly across the component. These mirrors include:
• Graded Reflectivity Mirrors or GRM
• Gaussian Mirrors
• Variable Reflecting Mirrors or VRM
• Super-Gaussian Mirrors
• Bessel Mirrors
• Parabel Mirrors
