The PM 100 is a planetary ball mill with 1 grinding station. Planetary ball mills comminute by impact and friction and achieve grind sizes down to 1 micron, in colloidal grindings even <0.1 µm. Thanks to the high centrifugal forces, the mill achieves a very high pulverization energy which keeps the grinding times short. The PM 100 is operated with grinding jars and balls available in 7 different materials, thus ensuring sample homogenization without contamination.
