RETSCH offers a compact bench top model as part of the jaw crusher series. With the new BB 50 there are multiple features that provide convenient and efficient use. Speed is set between 550 and 950 rpm; this allows for easy adaptation to the sample requirements. An additional advantage is the so called zero point adjustment that reduces wear of the breaking jaws. Operation of the BB 50 is extremely safe. The large hopper facilitates material feed and the capacity of the collection receptacle is 3 liters. The unit comes with a fold back hopper that can easily be removed without the use of tools, just like the crusher arm. Thanks to its small footprint, the BB 50 fits on any laboratory bench. It accepts sample feed sizes up to 40 mm and achieves a final fineness of approximately 0.5 mm, depending on the sample material.
