The digital hand-tachometer rotaro Tw with the special adapter Tw has been developed to meet the special requirements for measurement of speed and length within the welding industry. The Tw adapter can be directly attached to the digital hand-tachometer rotaro and can measure welding wires with a diameter from 0.8 to 3.0 mm. Typical applications for the rotaro Tw are calibration, service and maintenance work within the welding and wire industry. The special adapter Tw, combined with the digital hand-tachometer rotaro complies with all required norms and can therefore be used as an additional measurement instrument. It can be applied to optical and mechanical measurement of welding wire feed speed and is a reliable tool for quality control of welding-based production.
