We supply high density cartridge heating elements that work as heaters to achieve working temperatures of 850°C and specific surface loads of 50 W/cm2 up to a metre long.
Ultrawatt cartridge heaters are made of pre-compressed magnesium oxide core wound with nickel-chrome resistive wire. A thin layer of compressed magnesium oxide is used for separation of the wire from the external sheath. This ensures good heat transmission and excellent hi pot at high temperatures.
These high density cartridge heaters find use in the scientific sector and on industrial machinery like woodworking machines. These are also used in mould heating, flat extrusion heads, mould holders and metal parts in general.
