The RIL240 series float level switches are suitable for most industrial applications. They are used for a complete automatic activation of the management of tanks (also under pressure), tanks, boilers and for the control of pumps, valves, alarm systems. They are instruments with a rigid rod that are installed vertically on the top of the tank or externally in a special containment chamber connected to the tank. Inside a blind vertical tube, in the lower part and integral with the fixing system, there are one or more magnetic reed switch contacts or a reed switch chain transmitter. One or more floats, free to slide along the guide tube, magnetically act on the contacts positioned at the intervention points, switching their status according to the level of the liquid in the tank. Each float level switch with magnetic operation is sized and built with materials defined in relation to the characteristics of the project liquid and the conditions of the project. The intervention points are defined during construction at the required heights but can be adjusted in the field. On request versions made of PVC, PVDF, PP and Atex version for places with danger of explosion.
