In applications with a differential pressure greater than 5% compared to the maximum range of the standard pressure, the differential pressure measurement with two absolute pressure sensors offers major advantages over conventional methods of differential pressure measurement.
The differential pressure transmittersof the series PD39X do not directly measure the pressure differential but they use two absolute pressure sensors to detect the measurement in an indirect manner.
This differential pressure, more robust in relation to the overload unbalanced (unilateral), reduces costs.
Each side of the pressure has two attacks of fitting, so the PD39X can be used easily in the pressure lines. In this way it is also possible to measure the differential pressure in an exact way if the ratio range of standard pressure / differential pressure is high.
All errors reproducible of the pressure sensor(the non-linearity and temperature dependencies) are eliminated entirely through compensation mathematics errors. The sensor signals are measured with an A / D converter 16 bit, so you can measure the individual fields of standard pressure with an accuracy of 0.05% FS along the entire field of pressure and temperature.
DIGITAL INTERFACE
The transmitters are equipped with an RS485 interface half-duplex two-wire, compatible with the bus system, which is modeled on the "MODBUS RTU".
The Riels offers converters to RS232 or USB interface to use for this purpose.
The program READ30/PROG30 and protocol are available for free.
