These vane flow switches are suitable for signaling, controlling and regulating the flow on a pipe, for controlling pumps, burners, compressors, alarm signals. A flexible vane, stimulated by the flow, acts on the operating lever of an SPDT switching microswitch. The flow switch can be mounted in any position away from bottlenecks and with the arrow in the direction of flow. For installations on vertical pipes, the appliance must be re-calibrated to compensate for the weight of the pallet. The flow switch must be mounted in a straight pipe section without filters, valves, etc., at least 5 times its diameter, both upstream and downstream. If the appliance is mounted downwards, care must be taken for deposits that can form.
