Thanks to the FPM seals, the PPS impeller and the stainless steel body of the instrument, the VZS gear sensor can be used to monitor the flow rates of aggressive liquids.
The volumetric sensor works in a temperature range from -20 °C up to 100 °C and withstands a maximum pressure of 30 bar. This instrument is capable of processing up to 1.75 l/min.
Repeatability of ±0.5% and accuracy of ±1% can be improved by performing a field calibration by changing the calibration factor.
The sensor is powered at 24 Vdc and the output signal is PNP type which makes it directly connectable to a PLC.
For use, a close-mesh filter of approximately 200 mesh is recommended to avoid compromising the internal helix and it is essential to maintain straight sections before and after the installation of the sensor to ensure accuracy and repeatability.
