The RIL350 Ultrasonic Level Transmitter is appreciated thanks to its compact shape and quick connection via connector, the IP68 protection makes it suitable for outdoor applications with direct exposure to bad weather, including areas with danger of immersion (max 1m). Usually used for level measurements on tanks or open basins. The height of the level is calculated on the basis of the time that an ultrasonic pulse takes to travel the distance between the sensor and the surface of the medium.
