The CUBIC RLFP Level Sensor uses TDR technology (TDR: Time Domain Reflectometry) a procedure for determining the time of flight of electromagnetic waves.
The time difference between the sent and reflected pulses generates a fill level signal.
The sensor can output the signal as a continuous measured value (analog value) or as freely positionable thresholds (switching outputs).
This sensor can be used for practically any liquid even with foamy liquids or liquids that generate a patina on the surface.
It is the ideal solution for precise and reliable measurements, especially in small tanks and containers regardless of the installation conditions, thanks also to the coaxial pipe available as an accessory.
With the guided microwave measuring principle, the level of liquid and pasty media can be continuously measured.
