hanks to the EPDM gaskets, the PMMA impeller and the PP instrument body, the VZB gear sensor can be used in monitoring the flow rates of alkaline liquids.
The volumetric sensor works in a temperature range from -10 °C up to 90 °C and withstands a maximum pressure of 35 bar. This instrument is capable of processing up to 3 l/min.
Repeatability of ±0.5% and accuracy of ±1% can be improved by performing a field calibration by changing the calibration factor.
The sensor is powered at 24 Vdc and the output signal is NPN type.
For use, a close-mesh filter of approximately 200 mesh is recommended to avoid compromising the internal helix and it is essential to maintain straight sections before and after the installation of the sensor to ensure accuracy and repeatability.
