Description

The HM-P series of turbine flow meters is a reliable and versatile solution for measuring continuous and discontinuous flows. These instruments are ideal for a wide range of liquids, including both lubricating and non-lubricating fluids such as water, light oils, emulsions, and glycol mixtures with low to medium viscosity. The production of HM-P turbine flow meters relies on the use of high-quality steels selected for their resistance to corrosive liquids. Furthermore, thanks to the implementation of ceramic bearings and innovative design, the HM-P offers excellent measurement accuracy and outstanding durability even in extremely challenging application conditions. The Pelton wheel, used as an integral part of the HM-P flow meters, plays a crucial role in accurately measuring the flow rate. This hydraulic wheel, composed of a disk with pairs of buckets divided into two halves, harnesses the kinetic energy of the liquid flow and converts it into rotational mechanical energy. The force of the water impacting the buckets of the Pelton wheel sets it in motion, and the rotational speed of the wheel is proportional to the flow rate of the liquid passing through it. By precisely measuring the rotation speed of the wheel, the flow rate can be accurately determined. An additional advantage of the HM-P lies in its ability to reliably measure highly contaminated and high-temperature fluids. This makes it particularly suitable for use in heating and cooling circuits, as well as monitoring and dosing applications. PERFORMANCE DATA Repeatability - Maximum viscosity of the measured fluid - 10 mm²/s Minimum viscosity of the measured fluid - 0,8 mm²/s
