The turbine meter utilizes the principle of proportionality between the quantity of gas flowing through the meter and the rotations of the turbine. A mechanical/magnetic transmission system activates the counting unit, positioned at the top of the meter, which displays the gas volume under operational conditions.
The exceptional precision of the bearings, tight tolerances of all measurement components, and the inclusion of a flow straightener help minimize pressure losses. The measuring cartridge is separated from the outer body, ensuring immunity from potential mechanical stresses arising from flange misalignment inertia. Furthermore, it can be completely replaced.
The CPT-01 flowmeters offer the possibility of connecting the instrument to the pipeline using a gas thread or wafer connection and boast ATEX and PED approvals. Additionally, in accordance with ISO 9001 standards, they meet the ISO 9951 DIN 33800 standards.
With sizes ranging from 40 to 200 mm, these flow meters cover flow rates from 6 to 2500 m³/h. The standard rangeability is 1:20, but different ratios are available, operating within pressure ranges of PN 16, PN 20, and ANSI 150.
Designed for outdoor use with an IP66 rating, these flow meters can be installed horizontally or vertically. They come standard with two low-frequency pulse generators, and optional high-frequency NAMUR pulse generators can also be selected.
