The Shtrikh-2 is a 3D laser scanner manufactured by Riftek. It is suitable for use with beaver-type wood worker milling machines.
The unit is specifically designed for non-contact scanning of products to obtain 3D computer-simulated models. It comes with an RF603 series laser sensor, synchronization module, and software package. The machine uses a CNC system that moves the laser scanner over the prototype of product to form a digitized model of the sample. It memorizes the digitized model as a cloud of dots, and in general STL format.
