The base drum heater allows to heat a drum or container from below instead of from the sides like the heating jacket. The heated base for drum is made of shaped sheet metal and may be used either as a stand-alone solution or combined with an heating jacket or an insulation blanket. The surface temperature at the bottom of the base drum heater is regulated by an electronic control unit and allows adjustment from 0 to 150°C. The drum base heater gives the barrel a uniform heat supply from bottom to top.
