Description

An industrial fan is defined as s medium pressure centrifugal fan when it is able to supply medium pressures (ranging from 70 to 900 mm H2O). The medium pressure centrifugal fan is built with a high efficiency reversed blades impeller with self-cleaning features and therefore it can be adapted for any application. The medium pressure centrifugal fan is used for the suction of very dusty air or air containing granulated suspended material. The main characteristic of the medium pressure fan is the very flat power curve, so it does not have an absorption level beyond the nominal one even with the inlet/outlet sections completely free. Medium pressure fans are used for the transport of sawdust and wood shavings in carpenter shops, in mechanical industries for process material suction, in the pneumatic transport at cement plants, ceramics mills, feed mills, tanneries, foundries, in the textile, chemical industry and in general in all those applications where it is necessary to transport harmful air with low and medium pressure. Specific attention goes to the filamentous material that requires a specially constructed impeller. Rimor manufactures medium pressure centrifugal fans that work in standard conditions with air suction at temperatures below 80°C. Rimor manufactures medium pressure industrial fans with special constructions for air suction at temperatures even up to 900°C.
