The single-stage axial fan is used for transport of large air volumes with low pressures. The double-stage axial fan is constituted by an embossed or welded (to a single flange or double flange) steel sheet case with drilling suitable for wall anchoring or anchoring between piping.
The impeller is supplied in die-cast light alloy with airfoil blades and cantilever assembled on the motor shaft. The angle of the impeller blades is adjustable for large models.
The impeller can also be supplied in different materials where necessary.
The available range starts from diameter 315 and reaches up to 2’500 diameter with speeds up to 2’900 rpm decreasing with the increasing diameter and flow rates up to 350’000 m³/h.
The single-stage axial fan is built with the ‘directly coupled’ technology (direct coupling) but can also be supplied in the transmission (through belts and bull wheels) model that allows the use of these axial fans for temperatures up to 200 ° C.
