The centrifugal fan is referred to as a”heavy duty fan centrifugal fan” when it must be able to work in tough environments that require constant performance with stability and for long period of time. Rimor is able, thanks to softwares at its disposal and a multi-decade experience, to design and manufacture fans able to work in the most tough environments. The choice of material, thicknesses and appropriate reinforcements (stiffening?) make the fan heavy duty fan a first choice fan. All construction materials of the heavy duty fan are manufactured by laser cutting with 0,1 mm precision, the case is entirely welded, the impellers are made with double or triple re-inforcements (stiffening) (inlet rings – rear ring – intermediate ring) to obtain pressures up to 0,25 bar reachable with a single stage. For a greater stability over time, an higher class impeller balancing with turned and coupled hubs is also provided. For the manufacturing of the heavy duty fan centrifugal fan, a lot of importance is given to the impeller which can have curved backward blades or foward blades. Rimor also has an engineering department suitable to carry out engineering studies for any application, both with fluid dynamic calculations and with specific simulation studies thanks to the certified Dassault Systemès Solidworks. This is why this product line is custom made for the project’s required flow rate and pressure
