Intelligent sealing with polystar® electronic control system

How can we make perfect seams even more perfect? Well, we can’t – but we can improve the sealing processes that make them! Achieving this means being able to define the parameters that make up the perfect seam far more precisely.
Here at polystar®, we have developed an electronic control system that makes it possible to configure sealing parameters such as the temperature, sealing time and cooling time down to a degree and a tenth of a second. The integrated residual heat detection function guarantees consistent temperatures by providing only as much heat (energy) as necessary to achieve the predefined target temperature. This provides three key benefits for you:
1. Sealing processes always take place under the same conditions – so there’s no need to readjust the settings.
2. The residual heat detection function protects the heating elements, which means that the elements are subjected to less wear.
3. By only transmitting the difference between the current temperature of the heating elements and the predefined target temperature to the electronic control system, the residual heat detection function significantly reduces required power consumption compared to a standard thermal impulse sealing device.
But that’s not all the intelligent electronic control system is capable of: operators can also input a code to save the configured sealing parameters. The system features an integrated tally counter and storage space for 12 different parameter settings when using different film materials.
