Several patents have been registered by ROBOPLANET, which includes devices designed for metal thickness measurement performance, by means of ultrasound technology. Several advantages are offered by this technological breakthrough, including a simple, lightweight tool that is fully controlled by one operator. The devices are capable of performing more than forty thousand measurements per m2 of the inspected surface, and 400 times more measurement at 25% faster, thanks to the advanced technology.
