Moduflex Safety Module for robot side, Material Handling Solution (KUKA compatible) RSP:s patented safety solutions for the Moduflex series tool changers and tool attachments, with internal safety supervision, making it highly suitable for automotive industry. The RSP Safety module combine transfer of control signals and power with a built-in safety unit. It is designed for a variety of robot applications, and it is available for a number of robots and connections. Using this safety module, the tool changer will not open – independent of control siugnal from the robot controller – unless it is empty or, alternatively, when the tool changer (TC) with tool attachment (TA) is in a safely docked position in a tool stand. The safety module is to be used together with the Moduflex series tool changers from RSP, and it is a unique and patented product for safe tool changing with robots, highly suitable for automotive production.
