Security and surveillance tasks require precision and reliability to detect, prevent and mitigate potential hazards or risks in different environments.
RB-WATCHER is the inspection robot developed to perform surveillance tasks autonomously, safely and efficiently even in challenging and dynamic indoor and outdoor operating environments.
This autonomous mobile robot precisely executes surveillance tasks ranging from patrolling a predetermined area, locating objects and persons (e.g. intruders), temperature anomaly detection or collecting quality data. The robot processes all this information and sends it in real time to the control centre for decision making.
RB-WATCHER has advanced navigation capabilities and incorporates specific inspection sensorisation including a bi-spectral camera, front camera, RTK GPS or microphone.
Inspection and surveillance covers different sub-sectors: energy and grids, construction and infrastructure or the oil and gas industry, among others. Each one has its own requirements and RB-WATCHER is designed to meet them.
RB-WATCHER therefore has alternative components such as Leica’s BLK ARC sensor.
This is an autonomous laser scanning module specially designed to be integrated into robots such as RB-WATCHER and is used in construction/infrastructure, energy, oil and gas or waste processing environments, where 3D reconstruction (Reality Capture) is a more suitable solution.
