Description

The modular UFD40 is especially used in detecting defects, butt welds and mechanical connections on wires, tubes and cables. The device is created using non-destructive testing. In order to have an accurate detection, the measurement rates are high. The host PC is used for visualizing and operating the measurement channels. The measurement channels of the device consist of independent functions. The materials and its thickness are made of metal. It uses Eddy current measurement as its method of measuring. Each measurement module consist of 1 or 2 different channels. Irregularities will be detected once the material transits the sensor. The series can be applied with non contact detection of faults, butt welds and mechanical connections in wires, cables and tubes, etc.
