Description

• highly efficient EC technology • backward curved impellers • integrated control system (EC controller) • speed is 100% infinitely variable Properties Free running impellers with EC-drives ; Type: GKHS The Rosenberg centrifugal fans with free running, backward-curved, high-performance impellers in the GKHM / GKHS / GKHR series form a very compact, constructively optimal ventilator unit in conjunction with an electronically commutated external rotor motor (EC motor) with newly developed integrated power electronics. In developing these centrifugal fans, compact power electronics was adapted to the proven Rosenberg EC external rotor motor (GD 150). This drive concept results in a very compact unit in which the EC controller and the EC motor no longer have to be physically installed separately from each other. Free running impellers with EC motors are available depending on the size of different designs: GKHM fan built-in module GKHS fan built-in module with spider design GKHR motor impeller with or without loose enclosed inlet cone Electrical connection The mains connection and the contacting of all control and signal inputs are carried out directly on the motor. This eliminates the time-consuming connection with shielded cables. Speed control The infinitely variable speed input of the motor is done by connecting an external potentiometer (accessory) or an external 0-10 V/PWM signal.
