The pCPC is a tailor-made system by RotaChrom. It is a combination of the iCPC and a solvent preparation, recovery and regeneration system. It also delivers a proprietary automated biphasic solvent system preparation platform, providing a continuous feed to our iCPC instrument. pCPC encompasses a fully integrated production platform where complete solvent handling is provided beside the iCPC’s purification solutions. The system is controlled by PLC, and can be operated in a hazardous environment in compliance with existing regulatory requirements. The scaled-up and extended system provides a versatile solution. The integrated solvent regeneration platform significantly reduces the cost of operation. Thanks to RotaChrom’s customer support and prediction tools, the operational cost, process flow and layout can be tailored to customer needs before installation. The pCPC unit is comprised of the RotaChrom iCPC instrument and a Skid system which automates the purification process, from solvent preparation to recycling under ex-proof environment. RotaChrom’s pCPC platform offers high throughput, outstanding purity, increased yield and cost efficiency compared to current alternative purification platforms. The largest CPC unit in the world capable of processing up to 20 kg of crude input material/day. Fully automated multi-phase solvent system generating Skid, enabling continuous feed of fresh solvents for our CPC instrument. Composed of temperature-controlled vessels, it stores the upper phase, lower phase prepared by the Mixer-Settler Skid. Third vessel in the middle stores crude material.
