LOOSE TIE GRAPPLES SPECIALIZED ATTACHMENTS FOR SPECIALIZED INDUSTRY Rail ties are the life blood of the railway industry. Without them, there would be no rails and no trains. Efficiently handling rail ties, both new and used, requires unique attachments designed specifically for this purpose. The Rotobec Loose Tie Grapple is a modified version of our Combination Grapple, used for the loading and unloading of ties by the rail side. When it comes to handling rail ties there is simply no better way than with one of our amazing Rail Grapples. LEAVE THE SHALE BEHIND Shale presents a variety of problems when cleaning up loose ties by the rail side. To combat this, we have cut a hole out of the narrow jaw to allow shale to fall out when handling ties. We have also eliminated all gaps on the backside of the jaws where shale has the tendency to build up. EASY PENETRATION A curved jaw shape can prevent your grapple from easily penetrating a pile of ties resulting in half full grapple loads and a decrease in efficiency. The jaws of our Loose Tie Grapple are curved outwards to ensure that you are getting a full load of ties every time.
