Application
Primary treatment of wastewater from residential buildings or that assimilble to domestic effluent (bars, restaurants, hotels,…). The tank is divided in 2 sections: sedimentation and digestion chambers. Crude sewage is carried to the sedimentation chamber where the slowing down of the flow allows the sludge to pass to the lower compartment where it is digested. Here an anaerobic fermentation process is triggered with the resulting solubilisation and synthesis of part of the suspended solids. Then, the treated wastewater is carried to the final discharge or to the secondary treatment. The tank needs to be inspected and subjected to periodic maintenance by specialised personnel.
