Description

The Van Dorn water sampler set with horizontal water bottle is specially designed for sampling in open water. Due to the choice of materials the set is also suitable for sampling coastal waters and for the analysis for heavy metals. Horizontal water bottle Including analysis for heavy metals in coastal waters Minimum contamination Complete set Description The Van Dorn water sampler, set (horizontal water bottle) is specially designed for sampling of open water. This set is complete with falling weight, 30 metres of polyester rope and transport case. The set can be expanded with a CTD Driver. The CTD Diver can be used to monitor temperatures, vertical water depth and, if required, conductivity. As a result of the material choice, the set is also suitable for sampling coastal waters and for the analysis for heavy metals. The horizontal water flow through is not hindered by constrictions so that no appreciable contamination can occur in shallow water. As a result, the sampler is also suitable for measuring parameters in water with solid particles or constituents bound to them, possibly in large quantities. The Van Dorn water sampler holds 2.2 litres. The sample does not come into contact with metal parts Applications Water quality research Monitoring water quality Water sampling Analysis for heavy metals in coastal waters
