One of the key features of ABS would be its great resistance to chemical corrosion. Although not completely impervious, an ABS enclosure would withstand chemicals and other harmful liquids up to a better standard than metal. How much protection can these wall mount boxes provide? This entire range of boxes are rated at IP65. All models are completely protected against any dust which may harm sensitive equipment, so no dirt or small particles will be able to enter the enclosure whilst sealed. The excellent protection rating also ensures great water resistance and sufficiency from low pressure jets of water. If using this enclosure as a storage box, what is supplied? Each steel wall box comes standard with a screw mounted back plate. Also included are fixing brackets for simple and efficient wall mounting. It is recommended to inspect the surface before hand, to ensure it will be able to hold both a plastic box and its contents.
