Description

RS PRO brings to you a hydraulic crimp tool, designed for industrial cable assembly applications such as car battery cables. Where conventional crimpers won’t do this tool meets the challenge and packs a real punch. This compact hand tool has the benefit of spring-loaded handles, a 180° rotational head and a selection of dies that can be advanced using only one hand leaving the other free to position the cable and connector. Although this kit may look intimidating at first glance, it’s fairly simple to use. During application prepare the cable and slide on the connector, select and insert the required die, insert the cable and connector. Holding the cable in position with one hand, prime the handle until the crimp tool starts to bite, once you feel resistance you can use both hands to increase the pressure and complete the union. How do you maintain the product? • Movable parts should be regularly lubricated. • Lubrication* is recommended at least every 10,000 cycles whenever the tool is exposed to contaminants.
