In these areas, special RS-quick coupling systems have become a standard. These coupling systems have also proven successful in other (special) areas and are traditionally often used. Contrary to dry disconnect couplings, quick couplingsare an open coupling system. This means that residual and droplet quantities can leak out before and after the coupling process. The seal between the male and female sections in coupled state is, as a rule, achieved using elastomer seals. Chemical resistance should be a special factor when selecting the couplings.
