Description

The RASACUT LS 150 saws up to six tubes at the same time. Overall, a layer length of up to 203.22 mm (8") is possible; the range of processing ranges from six single tubes with a diameter of 15 mm each up to a single tube with a diameter of 150 mm. With round tubes, the working range includes dimensions of 15 to 150 mm. The sawing machine with its 25kW drive can process steel, stainless steel, and non-ferrous metals to fixed sizes of 30 to 3,000 mm and up to 12,000 mm in reversing operation. Depending on the dimensions and materials of the workpieces, you can set the cutting speed steplessly to between 30 and 300 m/min. Via a clamping with servomotors - vertically and horizontally in one level - the machining center can also easily saw thin-walled tubes as well as tubes with a diameter/wallthickness ratio bigger than 1/20 without a deformation of the material. The RASACUT LS 150 is consistently geared to produce no scrap material. With usable tube heads for example no trim cut is necessary. Additionally, the machining center has a CNC axis after the cut, which allows a minimizationn of the remnant piece. The layer saw does not need any hydraulics at all, since all the axes are driven on an electromotive basis. After changing a saw blade, its diameter is inspected automatically to rule out possible input errors.
